My spouse wont give me SEX! Can I get a divorce?

I received an email sometime ago from a Christian woman who wanted to hear my opinion concerning her frustrating marriage. Her issue was that her husband flat out refuses to make love to her and it’s been a year since they’ve been intimate! My God!! Are you serious I asked? She says over the years they have drifted back and forth but this is the worse it’s been in their 8 year marraige. They are only 44 years old and she claims there are no health issues with him. He has refused counseling and constantly changes the subject when she addresses this problem to him. “Is he having an affair” I asked? I’m in love with my Pastor! Should I find another church?

I’m sure you have heard of this which is far too common. Pastors male and female having members who desire to be with them….and not in a hallelujah way! Counseling and teaching people how to overcome their problems can give a Pastor the hero complex. I have counseled with a young man that was in love with his female Pastor to the point he obsessed about her even during her sermons on Sunday morning! He would almost literally be drooling at the mouth as she preached! WTW! He asked me would it be best to leave his church and find another? Hmmm. What do you think? The role of a Pastor does attract many but some can keep those kind of feelings to themselves or not have them at all. Would it be better to join a church where you are not attracted to your leader? A Honey for the Holidays?

Cold weather, snow, turkey and dressing, Christmas trees, egg nog, shopping for gifts at a jam packed mall. What is it about love and holidays? So many of my single friends say they feel so lonely around the holidays because they don’t have a boo! Some of my friends were telling me that they have been getting quite a few calls from their ex’s! And I have to admit I’ve got a few myself! Lol. Hmmm. Wussup with that? Maybe somebody need to help me because shouldn’t you be able to fill that void with something else or simply fun with your friends, family, especially your kids? Is it even really a void? I know we all are different but we should want a mate for all the right reasons not because of the holidays only and you want some gifts. That’s kind of ratchet to say the least. Lol Some say that the summer time is the best time for companionship! You can vacation, cook out, hit the beach, and the weather is nice! So tell me fam, how do you feel about a honey for the holidays? Would you rather have one or your kool either way? Have you noticed an increase in calls, texts, or emails from ex’s? Should teachers be allowed to carry guns in school?

I was watching this debate on CNN this morning and wow is all I can say!! But what do you say? Wouldn’t our kids be more protected if their teacher had a gun instead of a ruler when a maniac goes on the loose at school? Now of course I’m not talking about any teacher but certainly a capable teacher who is trained and licensed. Even a retired military person would be suitable. Can you find true love on the internet? Facebook, twitter, or instagram?

What a thought provoking question I was recently asked by a friend. It really got me to thinking. Can you truly find real love on a social network? Or is everyone not who they say they are? Could it be simply another way of meeting? Why are people so leary about meeting someone on the internet? Isn’t it no different than meeting a stranger at the library or church? I mean you see a face and hear a voice but you still don’t know who they are. I’m in deep thought on this one to say the least. If marijuana became legal would it be a sin for Christians to smoke?

You do know that the government is deciding whether to legalize marijuana right? Well if they did would it be a sin to smoke a joint or blunt?  Just like alcohol was legalized years ago many say weed will soon be. Can you imagine saints pulling up in the parking lot with the car filled with smoke! Folks on the praise team with blood shot red eyes! What a sight that would be. BUT what if it was legal?  So tell me what do you think? It would be ok if it was for medicinal purposes right? If you aint scared talk to me!!!!!!!

Would you date somebody that used to be gay?

Hanging with some friends (guys and gals) over dinner this discussion came up. Surprisingly the men had no problem dating a former lesbian but the majority of the women said they wouldn’t date a former homosexual. Really? Why? Don’t you believe people can change? You probably would date a former alcoholic or drug user why not a former gay person? Have you ever dated somebody that used to be gay? Now don’t shoot the messenger on this I’m just having a discussion. So if you aint scared….talk to me!!!

Can men and women be best friends without having sex?

This is an age old question that has much controversy around it. Some say this can never happen while others say it can. But do you really believe that a man and woman can be best of friends for years and never cross that line? Do you know of anybody who has? Have you? Most women say of course while men say no way! Men think totally different from women and when it comes to sex there does not have to be an emotional attachment some say. With women if there are any emotions involved with the man it’s a possibility. Would you be kool with your spouse having a best friend of the opposite gender? What if that friend was extremely beautiful or handsome? Would that change your opinion? Try to be honest on this one. Lol. Talk to me….

You will love/hate being popular! It’s a two-edged sword

Being known certainly has it’s privileges! It will open doors BUT it will certainly close some too! I know so many ppl who strive to be famous and some actual do but the price they have to pay is very very steep! Imagine being Beyonce or Eddie Murphy….you will never have a normal life of privacy. But wait famous is on many levels. Some of you may not be on a movie screen but your very very known. A politician, teacher, prison guard, judge, or police officer. As a preacher some people make up their own list of where a preacher should go and what he should do (mind you they go where they want and do what they want). A hot mess. Lol. For example a friend of mine had a birthday party at a social venue and invited me. Because of a prior engagement I couldn’t stay long. I showed up for about an hour ate some food and left. A few days later I got some phone calls saying I was kicking it hard in a club, getting high and drunk, even dancing and the floor with 3 hoochies! What the hayell! Lol. That’s what I mean. People will make up stuff but you have to be an eagle and fly above it knowing that God is your only judge. So tell me are you fortunately or unfortunately popular? Do you enjoy being well known? You ever feel like a prisoner? Are do you own alot of baseball caps and sunglasses? Would would you rather ?Lol. Talk to me!!!

No hating here because I love this book, saw the movie, and just got back from Steve Harveys Hoodie Awards in Vegas. Do you my sister think like a man? Is it possible for Tanya to think like Tyrone?
